The Sweat Solution: Gatorade from concept to commercialization and beyond.

We partnered with The Cade Museum of Creativity and Invention to help design a permanent exhibit, The Sweat Solution, to be an interactive history of the invention of Gatorade. The Sweat Solution provides a summary answer to that delicate but necessary question posed in 1965, “Why don’t football players ever urinate during a game?” The exhibit showcases the invention of Gatorade, the lives saved because of its science, the industries that emerged from its invention, and its incredible global impact.

We created the video series that traces the timeline from invention to commercialization.
Included in each display was an attractor loop meant to lure visitors and a collection of short videos which reflected the key moments of the story.

A interactive display showcasing the evolution of the bottle features a collection of iconic television ads from the 1960s through to the present.
